The GUST project brings together leading European research partners and practitioners from Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands and Austria to investigate urban living labs.

Key researchers from Lund University in Sweden include Kes McCormick, Yuliya Voytenko and Oksana Mont at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE), Lars Coenen, Markus Grillitsch and Lea Fuenfschilling at the Centre for Innovation, Research and Competence in the Learning Economy (CIRCLE) and Annica Kronsell at the Department for Political Science.

Key researchers from Durham University in the UK include Harriet Bulkeley, Simon Marvin and Lindsay Mai.

Key researchers from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands include Niki Frantzeskaki, Derk Loorbach, Timo von Wirth and Frank van Steenbergen at the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions (DRIFT).

Key researchers from Joanneum Research in Austria include Christian Hartmann, Marija Breitfuss, Angelika Sauer, Helene Schiffbaenker and Danial Wagner-Schuster.
